Mission, Vision, Values.
Mission, Vision & Values is a collaborative team learning experience designed to support reflection, shared understanding, and alignment around departmental purpose and direction.
Built in Mural, the experience combines concept framing, guided prompts, and structured brainstorming activities to help teams generate meaningful input around what they stand for, where they are headed, and how they want to work together.

Teams are often expected to define their mission, vision, and values without a clear process for translating those broad ideas into something meaningful and usable. This project was designed to support a more structured and participatory approach — helping a team move from abstract concepts toward shared language, reflection, and practical input.
The challenge was to create an experience that felt engaging and grounded rather than overly corporate or forced. The challenge was to make interpersonal communication skills feel concrete, practical, and usable on the job — not abstract or overly scripted.

I designed this experience in Mural to support both concept-building and collaborative participation. Rather than asking a team to generate final polished statements on the spot, the experience was structured to guide participants through reflection, discussion, and brainstorming activities that surface themes and shared perspectives.
Using Mural allowed me to create a more visual and interactive working space where participants could contribute ideas, respond to prompts, and build on one another’s thinking in real time. The overall design was intended to create enough structure for productive discussion while still leaving room for genuine team voice and synthesis.
To make the content more interactive and skill-based, I incorporated Storyline blocks within Rise that allow learners to practice identifying and applying communication techniques in realistic scenarios. These interactions were designed to move beyond simple knowledge checks and instead give learners opportunities to reflect, choose responses, and build confidence using communication strategies in context.
The overall experience was designed to feel clear, approachable, and grounded in real patient-facing work.
